[해설]
주어가 결과를 내포하는 경우 ‘소요된다’는 뜻의 take동사가 어울린다. 주어가 사람이나 단체인 경우 ‘소비하다’는 뜻이 spend가 어울리고, 주어가 상태를 나타내는 경우 ‘지속된다’는 뜻의 last가 제격이다. 만일 주어가 과정을 내포하는 행사나 사건인 경우 take와 last가 모두 가능하다. 예를 들어 주어가 The meeting / surgery / interview / seminar 등인 경우 takes two hour 또는 lasts two hour가 모두 가능하다. 이 문제에서 주어인 completion은 결과이므로 (D) take가 정답이다.
