[해설]
Outstanding은 ‘뛰어난(extraordinary’)이라는 뜻도 있지만 ‘미정산된’이라는 뜻으로 remaining balance 또는 unpaid balance와 같은 의미로 outstanding balance라는 표현으로 자주 사용된다. 그러나 연체되었다는 표현인 overdue balance와는 구분이 되어야 한다. Incoming은 ‘들어오는’, excellent는 ‘훌륭한’, overdue는 ‘과대평가된’이라는 뜻으로 문맥상 어울리지 않는다.
